Health Trainers

Health Trainers work in local communities supporting people aged 16+ to make healthier lifestyle choices.

Health Trainers are members of your local community, they understand the real issues and challenges faced by people who are trying to make positive changes to their lifestyle.

They have received specialist training which has given them the tools necessary to support others to achieve their goals.

Our Health Trainers have knowledge of local services that can support people along their way.

We help people who are looking to:

Eat more healthily

• Become more active or mobile

Reduce stress and/or anxiety

Reduce the amount they smoke

• Keep their drinking in check

The service has been designed to ensure maximum provision to the eligible population and will be centred within community settings.
